2009 Wii Sales
Does anyone know if Nintendo Wii has different versions based on the year?
I am in the market to buy a Wii and I know nothing about the system. I see some for sale that are the “2008 Version” that are considerably cheaper. Are the consoles that are being sold in Best Buy and such 2009 versions and this is just last years model. And also, does anyone know the difference in functionality if there are different “versions”? Thanks!!
starting in 2008, Wii’s have come with a remote jacket to help protect the Wii remote.
All Wii’s currently on sale will probably have the most current firmware too, but that’s not an issue, as any Wii can be updated if you insert a current game or connecting your Wii to the internet.
