Console Wii Prix

Is there a reason Nintendo do stuff to make the wii a better console?
like putting more space on it or making it play DVDs or blu ray? Is it all because of the money?
Or do gaming companies ever look at a game they made and said wow this game sucks. oh well. and why dont they make it better? like why didnt nintendo make Mario Kart Wii have co op grand prix? what is the reason for this? or why did mlb 2k8 not have 2 player franchise mode? or why does everybody make a 3 in nba live 08? why does the simpsons game have awful camera? (all wii)
this baffles me.
Is there a reason Nintendo DIDN’T do stuff to make the wii a better console
sorry bout that
R.O.B.-read all the details my friend
i didnt say Nintendo made all the games.
the first part is different than the second part. the first part i asked why didnt nintendo do this or that to the wii.
the second part i asked why didnt GAMING COMPANIES do this or that to their games.
Nintendo had nothing to do with MLB 2K8, NBA Live 08, or the Simpsons game.. That’s like asking why Dell doesn’t do things to fix problems in the Windows operating system.
Anyway, blu-ray was a bad idea for a game console this early in it’s life – The optical drive in the PS3 is the most expensive aspect of the hardware.
Sony put the blu-ray drive in the PS3 because it’s their technology and wanted it to beat HDDVD. They originally thought people would buy the PS3 no matter what the price was, just because it was “PlayStation” and had been the best name in gaming for the last 14 years or so. This would put blu-ray in the market in a fast and easy way, and it did cause them to defeat HDDVD.
In the end, Sony was arrogant and greedy, and it’s led to them losing a LOT of money, and is still causing them to lose money (even though they won the format war).
By not adding DVD playback, Nintendo didn’t have to pay some licensing fees for the console, even though it uses DVD disks (in a different format). It’s one of many things done with the Wii in order to keep cost down. Others are the exclusion of HD output (and hardware powerful enough to support HD), and the lack of a hard drive (which should have at least been offered optionally..)
As for Mario Kart, the entire multiplayer mode, in terms of options, was very disappointing. Since it’s been released it’s too late for Nintendo to add more options and modes, but we’ll see if they learn from their mistakes next generation when Mario Kart Wii’s successor is released.
