Metroid: Other M For The Nintendo Wii

You may have heard of the game Metroid: other M (also called Project M). It is a Wii game in development by Nintendo SDP Production Group 1 and Team Ninja. What is special about this game is that you can choose to play it in 2D and 3D.

The Story takes place between Super Metroid and Metroid Fusion. Which you can see in the opening movie, that shows the final battle with Mother Brain at the end of Super Metroid. After this battle you will have to leave the exploding planet Zebes. Samus wakes on a galactic vessel, when she recieves a distress call from a ship not far from the federation vessel. She has to explore this ship with some old friends from the army named Anthony Higgs and Adam Malkovich. They were on the ship for a mission and did not want to tell Samus anything about it. But after she defeated a large purple tentacle monster she will be briefed about the mission.

The gameplay of the game is quite nice. It remembers me of the old NES games, because you have to hold the Wii Remote horizontally. The nice feature unlock the previous games is that you can point your Wii Remote to the screen and the games turns into a First Person 3D action game. So in some fights you will have to swith between 2D and 3D to face some difficult enemies.
