Video Game Rentals – Why You Should Be Renting Online To Save $$$

Like you, I didn’t know much about video game rentals online. I use to buy video games all the time back in the day.  I never even considered the idea of using an online video game rental service, even though Netflix has been around for years now.  Like most gamers, I noticed that a lot of my income was going into these video games that I bought, played for a couple of weeks, and then shelved it. I luckily got the idea of renting games online through an ad I saw. I couldn’t believe I never thought of this before. I wish I had done this years ago, as I found out there are several benefits to renting video games online like saving hundreds of dollars (which I do) each year.

Obviously, the greatest part of renting games online is that you have options.  You can play a game as long as you like or as short as you like if it sucks. The games are delivered in 1 business day and it doesn’t cost any money in shipping. This is great because I now don’t have to drive to my local video store and hope that the next game I wasn’t isn’t already taken.  By renting the games first, you’ll be able to find out if it’s worthy of being added to your gaming library. If you’re a big game buyer, you can literally save hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars a year because you pay 1 monthly rate.  If you wish to keep a game, simply choose to do so online and you will get billed for a discounted price.

Video game rentals online is, I believe, the best choice for any gamer.  Think about it: You could knock out 3 to 4 games a month for around $20, compared to spending $60 a pop or more buying the games. Even if you only rented and played one game a month, it is still cheaper to rent than to buy because you can keep the games as long as you want!

Game selection is another huge advantage for renting online.  You’re guaranteed any game for almost any system available:  Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Playstation 2, Sony PSP, Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, GameCube, and more.  New releases are available and shipped out the day before they release in stores so that you will have the game delivered to you the day it comes out.  How genius is that?  You also don’t have to worry about spending money in gas over time because the companies pay for your shipping.

If you buy a lot of games for you consoles, and you’re tired of paying the high fees to own them, online video game rentals is definitely a choice that is out there and one to consider.  You will save hundreds of dollars per year while still being able to play the newest releases.
