Wii 480p Cable
Wii Component Cable Problem?
i just bough an HDTV (Toshiba) and some component cables for my Wii
I set my aspect to 16:9 and my resolution to 480p but it looks worse than 480i. I tried it on zelda and gh3 all look worse on 480p than 480i. What am i doing wrong?
its on something called Color Stream HD1 my tv model is a toshiba regza 47HL167
I changed my resolution to 480p in the wii menu and it looks worse than 480i
i checked the colors they are in right place
The main problem is when im playing twilight princess on 480p its more pixelated and the shadgin is bad when on 480i it looks better ( i used 480i and 480p on widescreen on the same tv)

480 is standard as you might know..lol
480p mean everyline that makes up your picture is being used
480i stands for interlaced which is every other line on the tv
it going to look better in 480i becuz it doesnt have top stress the machine out to keep up with the resolution of the picture..
also you should find out how fast the picture on your tv is.
you could probably go to the website of the place you bought it from and look at the specs of the TV and look for Refresh Rate or response time
