Wii Can’t Read Disc Error
Why do i keep getting Disc Read Errors in my Wii?
I have a launch day NTSC- USA Wii with Wiikey 1.9s installed. All may burnt games worked fine (the games from 2006) but now after i started playing Brawl, i started getting Disc Read Errors (The black screen, which tells you to eject the disc and turn off the Wii). And now i just can’t seem to run ANY game, most games of mine (the newest ones!!) give me Disc Read Errors. ANY HELP!! would be helpful. Can it be my Laser??
Super Smash Bros. Brawl utilizes a double-layer disc which has a large memory capacity. A very small percentage of Wii consoles may have trouble consistently reading data off this large capacity disc if there is some contamination on the lens of the disc drive. You’ve probably worked your system so hard trying to read SSBB that now you can’t read anything else.
Unfortunatly since you’ve modded your console your warranty with Nintendo is null and void so you will have to try and find somone else that can clean your lenses.
