DDR Supernova 2 vs. Hottest Dance Party?
I own a PS2 and a Wii..I’m trying to decide whether to buy DDR Supernova 2 for PS2 or Hottest Dance Party for the Wii. Does anyone have track lists so I can compare the songs offered or list the pros/cons of both? Also, does anyone know if you can turn off the hand signals in Hottest Dance Party? Thanks!
Try wikipedia for the songlists of both games, it works. For buying one game… It honestly depends what you like in DDR. I’ve heard SuperNOVA 2 has been getting some heat for repeating some songs, but the game sticks to its true J-Pop and techno songlist, with a few surprising liscenes (He said she said, Suddenly I See… SAY GOODBYE?!?) ANyways, if you’re just into good old American music with just a touch of English-translated J-pop, then Hottest Party is suitable for you. Almost all of the songlist are covers of real songs here, and a handful are some english techno and J-pop. However, I hope you like style over substance if you’re into this: While Hottest Party has a cool concept, it has a paltry 50 songs, as compared to SuperNOVA 2′s 72.
Oh yeah… You can turn off hand markers, but it’s complicated…
