Is the DDR pad for Wii very sturdy?
It’s just that it looks like it’s made of fabric, and i wouldn’t be comfortable doing DDR on plastic that’s so flimsy.
Yes, I actually have 5 pads. one of them did malfunction but only after about 3 years of use. The key to keep them a long time, currently they are going on their 6th year in the house, is to make sure they are spread out evenly on the floor. If you have a rug on the floor make sure the controller isn’t hanging over the edge, or there is a toy or some object under it while its in use that will definately shorten the lifespan of the controller.
Other than that, I have had no complaints about them.
I don’t have the controllers for the Wii but I have them for the original Xbox. They still work and the kids still play DDR. They are same plastic mat looking material that looks flismy but they have been very durable with our 5 kids breakdancing on top of them.
