Grab Wii Homebrew For Free

No one can deny the fact that Nintendo Wii games are indeed well-known to everyone nowadays. As a result of that gained popularity, their sales are getting higher, and their income is moving upward too. But since these games are not available for free and some people just don’t want to spend extra money anymore, an alternative to what Nintendo is offering has been made. That is when Wii Homebrew came into the picture.

With Homebrew, you’re able to run different software on the Wii even if it is not licensed or sanctioned by Nintendo. It is able to utilize things like homemade games and game engines that run old PC games. It can also enable you to do other applications on your Wii such as playing DVD’s through the device or using the balance board as a scale.

This said software is absolutely free. So, if there may be people who are selling it to you, don’t be deceived right away. The fact that this free software already exists annoys Nintendo because that will defeat their purpose to control you and everything that you do on your console. They don’t want anyone to use Wii Homebrew that is to protect their business. But unfortunately, there are people who, for some reasons, were able to create the alternative.

There are a number of Wii Homebrew installers available for everyone now. The old way of running a homebrew on a console is to physically change your Wii console with the use of a mod chip that changes the programming inside the console and allows foreign code to be used on the Wii. However, with the release of the newest homebrew, all of that should not be done anymore. You don’t anymore have to physically change the console. Therefore, it will be kept intact and your guarantee will not be void. That means more convenience and safety to your Wii console. One thing that you should have to be able to run this homebrew is an SD card of your own since you need to insert that SD card into the Wii if ever you wanted to play.

Nintendo Wii is not that perfect to its users before. One thing it lacked was the DVD playback feature. Now, due to public demand and with the effort of some people, that concern is no longer a problem. Wii DVD is now available on the Wii; therefore you can now be entertained more by this device. Another good thing is that with this, it is still possible to play DVD on the Wii without using a mod chip anymore.

For you to play DVD on Wii, you only have to properly do four easy things. First and foremost, you have to install the Wii Homebrew Channel onto your Wii. Next to that is that you also have to install an MPlayer so that your DVD disc runs like a normal DVD player. The third thing to do is to find and install the DvdX loader program that will modify your system to enable DVD playback. Lastly, turn on your Homebrew channel and start MPlayer and then choose the DVD from the list on the menu that will show up and from there just use the disc the way you usually do on a normal DVD player.
