Wii Gets Hot

my wii gets really hot in standby mode?
if I leave it in standby mode with wii connect 24 on, it gets super super hot, like about 100 degrees, and the disk inside and the memory card is very very hot if I take it out.
But if I leave it with the wii connect 24 off in standby mode(with the red power light) then it is perfectly fine. Do you also experience this, or is it a problem with just my wii
Nintendo customer service said that it is normal, but I dont think it is
Thats interesting, if i leave my wii with wiiconnect24 on in standby mode it gets warm, but not like 100 degrees.
You should take out the disk and memory card when your not playing to prevent damge to them, since it gets that hot.
And if Nintendo said its fine, then it should be fine, but if it starts to get out of hand, the wii has a warranty which you can use, and they will replace your wii, but you wont get your saved stuff back…
(just save all your stuff to a sd card or something and then get them to replace it- that is if you do replace it.)
