I ordered this TV right before Christmas through one of Amazon’s recommended retailers. I was a little nervous with such a big purchase. I was very surprised to get a call several days before it was promised for delivery. The TV is awesom. I researched for months on what to get and I just didn’t see anything negative about the Panasonics. I don’t have cable or dish HD service, so I have to get my HD signals OTA. It has the best picture, especially for sports. I can’t wait to upgrade my pay TV service to get the HD package to fully utilize the quality of the picture. SD pictures are good, but nothing compared to HD.

Also on the plus side, the TV includes a number of anti-screen burn features to help with that always-scary problem. Keep things on a slightly lower contrast setting (Panasonic’s “Standard” video setting is fine) for the first 200 hours or so and you’ll be fine on that front.

This TV is an excellent one. And at the price point, it’s an amazing one. The display is crystal clear, and the contrast levels are outstanding. Deep black color representation, sharp and clear colors, and an all around fantastic picture. I personally have a satellite hookup, upconvert DVD player, Sony Playstation 2, and Nintendo Wii. I’m using the two HDMI inputs for the first 2, component cables for the Wii, and composite cables for the PS2. All of them look great even blown up onto the big screen. There’s a good number of cable connections in the back, so it’s a cinch to get all of your components hooked up.
