Wii Homebrew Browser 4.2u
Wii running 4.2U firmware and DVDx?
I’m the biggest noob evveeeer. I can’t get either version of DVDx to work. I only recently discovered the magical world of Wii homebrew, and I managed to install the homebrew channel. Whenever I visit the Homebrew Browser, I cannot install DVDx. It says something like error installing/downloading (something like that) DVD stub or just stub or maybe stub ticket? Do I need to downgrade? I know about modchips but I would prefer not to deal with soldering it on.
Try deleting the folder and downloading the file again.
Make sure that the folder is in the apps folder (should be since you were able to access it)
Make sure that inside the dvdxinst folder, there is a .dol file named “boot.dol”
