Can’t play Wii games after deleting homebrew?
I recently put the Homebrew Channel on my Wii because I thought it would be interesting. Well a few days later I realized that probably wasn’t the smartest thing, so I went through a guide showing how to delete everything Homebrew related and updated my Wii to the newest software. Well now, it says I can’t use any of my channels, except the Weather and News Channels, and it isn’t recognizing any discs. What have I done and how can I fix it…?
Sorry but your wii is probably bricked the only way to fix it is to get a new wii as installing the channel voids th nintendo warranty. Also when you install homebrew it still leaves some traces of the software and doesn’t get rid of it completely. When you install hombrew also NEVER update the wii after you’ve installed it.
