How To Connect A Wii To Wireless

The Nintendo Wii is a popular family gaming system that has also has a wireless Internet feature.

You can connect your Wii to any open wireless connection, or any wireless connection to which you have the password. Connecting your Wii to wireless Internet is easy, and once it has been set up your Wii will connect automatically.

Power up your Nintendo Wii. Press the “Power” button on the Wii.Go to the Main Channel Selection screen. Skip the safety warning by pressing the “A” button your Wii remote.

Select the “Wii Options” menu by hovering the cursor over the menu button and pressing the “A” button. This is the button in the lower left corner of the screen that reads “Wii.”Select the “Wii Settings” menu. This is the button on the right of the Wii Options menu.

Open connections are marked by having “None” in the field next to “Connection 1″ or “Connection 2.”Tell the Wii to find a connection. Click “Wireless Connection” and then “Search for an Access Point.”

Select the wireless connection point that you wish to use. Find the wireless connection that you wish to connect with on the menu, and then select it. If the connection is locked, you will be prompted to enter the password. The Wii will then ask if you wish to save the settings.
