How To Repair a Wii Yourself

There are many things that could go wrong with your Nintendo Wii console, but some of them are easy fixes, and allows you to accurately correct them. Learning how to repair a wii will give you the information you need to know if something were to go wrong with the console, and sometimes something might happen where the knowledge will come in handy. You will want the best for your Wii, just like you would want the best for any piece of technology that you purchase.

Disc read errors are something that commonly happens with any console that takes discs for gaming. The error will pop up after the console took a hard jolt, or was dropped somehow. If you unplug the power cord to the Wii, plug it back in and try another disc, it might work. If you find that it still will not read the discs then you might have to have it serviced.

The Wii-mote might fail to detect motion, sometimes simply slapping the remote. This might not always work though, you might have to take the wii-mote apart, fix the sensor that might have became loose, and then re-assemble it. This should fix the remote and allow you to play your games again.

There are many other things that might go wrong with your console, all you have to do is figure out what is wrong, and use the help from the internet to fix the problem, and start playing with the console again. This will help you feel assured if something were to happen again that you could fix it.
