Wii Player Homebrew
Download DVD Player for Wii?
I am having a lot of trouble downloading a DVD player on my Wii. I have downloaded the Homebrew channel with the Twilight hack, and then I put mPlayer on my sd card. I can run that. I know that to play dvds i have to install DVDx. When i go to install it, It doesn’t install. I chose the normal install because i dont have any modchips installed. It all goes smoothly until the last two steps.
I get this error message:
Error -2011 installing DVD Stub ticket
Error -2011 installing stub
After researching these issues on the internet for a few weeks, I know this is a common error that “should be fixed somtime soon with an update.” Yada yada.
Maybe someone here had any advice that they have found to work. Or, is the Homebrew route the only way to get DVD’s to play on a Wii?
Here’s an idea… use a DVD player to watch DVDs.
