Do You Think Nintendo Is Ignoring The Hardcore Audience?
Ever since the success of the ds “casual games,” nintendo has began to release more and more of them, ignoring the hardcore gamers so they can reach to a larger audience and make more money. Their sales profit for last quarter was astoundingly higher then Sony’s which is very high considering sony’s game systems only account for a small amount of their profits. I think nintendo has been forgetting who got them to the top just so they can get higher. Nintendo is focusing on the quote on quote “soccer moms,” as Reggie says. Im 13 years old and want to see more games like brawl, zelda and mario galaxy. Hopefully next year will be much brighter for the hardcore gamers, but I truly believe nintendo is beginning to leave me and my wii, and other hardcore gamers behind. On gametrailers a nominee for most dissapointing of e3 was nintendo’s press conference. I think its unfair that they are trying to level the field of gaming so casual gamers can compete with hardcore. 6-13 (age) im still core
