Wii Remote Charger Dock
has anybody else had problems with their wii remote?
i just bought a wii dock and charger (http://www.nulime.com/Wii-Dual-Charge-Station/p220632) and charged by wii remotes using battery packs that they provided. after the charging was complete, i grabbed my remote and turned on my remote. everything connected, and all of the buttons work. but the problem is that their is no pointer
The pointer is done with a combination of the infrared camera in the end of the Wiimote and a cluster of infrared LEDs on each end of the Sensor Bar. Make sure the Sensor Bar is plugged in, facing the proper direction, and the Wiimote is pointing at it.
If this is a new problem that did not happen before, it’s likely that the batteries aren’t providing enough power for the IR camera or the charger fried the camera.
Yet another reason why Wii chargers aren’t as good of an idea as name-brand rechargeable AAs.
