Latest update of the Wii – I have Homebrew Channel – Please help.?

So, I have Homebrew Channel, which means that I have not updated my Wii in a very long time. But now I have a new game. I have really wanted to play. It requires an update. The update clearly states that if it detects unauthorized modification of the Wii, which will remove it, which causes immediate, delayed or inoperability of the Wii. (Brick it.)
