Is there a application you can add via USB stick or memory card that will allow the Wii to play DVD movies???? I know you can add applications to it to play downloaded Wii games from a USB External Hard Drive but I would like to play DVD movies on it…
There is a program to convert your videos so you can play it on your Nintendo Wii Console. You will need an SD card and SD card adapter. These will convert your movies to play on your Wii console and is the easiest and safest way. You will then transfer the videos to your SD Card from your PC and then insert the SD Memory Card to your Nintendo Wii console.
Mods and hacks are illegal and can “brick” your Wii (meaning it will be good for nothing but a piece of brick) and is not worth it. You can also be banned from playing online indefinitely by Nintendo. The program is called Wii Video 9.
