Wii Vga Adapter
Record PS3 gameplay to a usb drive?
I’m looking for a method to record gameplay from my ps3 to a usb/flash drive or an external hard drive with no computer. My computer is nowhere within reach, so a Dazzle wouldn’t work, and my camera doesn’t have any inputs, so recording with that won’t work either. I’m also using an Asus computer monitor with an hdmi cable. Also would there be anything that connects to the monitor itself and records everything onscreen? Because I’m also going to try and hook up my wii with some adapters to the monitor as well. (My monitor is the Asus 23″ VH232H, which has HDMI, DVI, VGA and SPDIF inputs.) Any help would be appreciated.
I’m looking for something that could plug into the monitor, not the ps3 itself. What I had in mind was the Pinnacle video transfer, which would be perfect if it accepted HDMI.
sorry but it wouldn’t work even if there was such a program to record on a usb drive
playstation 3 consoles can only use a usb drive in FAT32 format , fat32 has limitations on file sizes and can’t run software – that requires an ntsf drive .
no recording software = no recording . this doesn’t even take into account that a ps3 can’t display video via usb port so there wouldn’t be any video signal to record .
you might want to just try recording the screen with a camera , if you turn the brightness down a bit and record at 60fps it can look good enough for youtube .
