Wii Vga Output
RCA / HDMI converter question … please please help?
So here's the deal on what I have and what I do: We have a great HD monitor computer used as a TV, using HDMI cables. We want to buy a Wii and use RCA cables. Because we have a monitor and not there is a real TV RCA outputs. I found this on Amazon and I realize http://www.amazon.com/HDMI-RCA-VGA-Cable-1-8ft/dp/B002ZUI68G/ref=cm_cr_pr_pb_t reviews are all bad …. So what I wonder is if he knew what they were doing this cable is not really work. (So far we have been told that there is a Wii hooked our "TV") So that's what we do possible with the wires on the link or can not do, or need something more / something else …. Any help is appreciated. Please do not tell us to go buy a real TV, because this setting works well.
To connect a Wii (analog) monitor for the HDMI (only digital), you must use a converter of some kind that will change the analog signal to digital. The bad news is that the converter boxes are not cheap – and the ways very inexpensive as adding a capture card to your PC and connect the PC to the monitor – are generally of poor quality or adding delay to the point that you can not play well.
