Wii Won’t Read Discs
Help: Wii won’t read Super Smash Bros. Brawl Disc. Won’t even spin the disc!?
Recently my Super Smah Bros. Brawl disc will not work on my Wii. It is an old Wii as I got it the day it came out. I got the Brawl the day it was released and it played fine. Recently though I replaced the optical laser in my Wii because it was having trouble freezing up when playing games. since I’ve replaced the laser, my Wii can’t read the disk. It won’t even begin to spin the disc when it’s put in. I’ve noticed that the center silver ring on the disc is pretty scratched up which I have no explanation for. Since the optical laser starts in the center it’s assumed that it can’t read that center part due to scratches and won’t even try to spin or read the rest of the disc. What can I do about this?
Your disc needs to be professionally refinished. Don’t go to a game shop like GameStop. They will give it a quick clean and it won’t solve the problem. You need to use a professional source who will deep clean your disc.
