New type of diet/work out routine?
My boyfriend and I have very busy careers. I find time to kick-box for an hour, 4 nights a week. He however does not have the luxury of free time like that. He is flying up the ranks and getting more and more work thrown his way daily. I am trying to find a 30 minute/45 minute 2-3 times a week type of workout for him. He wants to drop about 20 pounds. He doesn’t like seafood, so we eat lots of chicken. He is going to go on the 2 week Isogenix meal replacement thing…(?) that he has tried before and found results with. He just doesn’t really know what to do for working out. We have a whole spare room that can be dedicated to working out. We have 5 pound weights, a large exercise ball, yoga mat and videos, 15lb kettle bell, Wii fit/wii fit plus (and numerous other exercise games)… Advice would be very greatly appreciated ![]()

This is such a broad question… why is nobody answering it??? I need some help here !
Did you know that eating sugar triggers your pancreas to produce insuline, and that insuline is the hormone responsible for stocking fat into fat cells?
That means that no matter what you eat, if it does not contain sugar, you will never stock all the fat it contains. However, since you can’t go completely sugar-free, you should stick to a diet of 15 grams of sugar per day.
Healthy food doesn’t seem so “healthy” when you find out that a glass of milk contains on average 9 grams of sugar and that a serving of plain yugourt can easily contain up to 25 grams of sugar. However, a delicious slice of greasy all-dressed pizza with extra cheese contains less grams of sugar than your glass of milk.
You don’t have to deprive yourself or starve. You have several options. You can even have sugar-free chocolate ice cream if that’s what you’re craving (or sugar-free yogurt if that makes you feel better). The only thing you need is to make sure that you get enough calcium if you decide to cut the quantity of milk you have.
