Wireless Wii Keyboard
How does the Wireless Wii Keyboards work?
IF you have the wireless wii keyboard,can you please tell me how it works? Can you use it to type regular messages to send to your friends? Does it work well on the internet? How is it?
Any USB keyboard should work fine with the wii, just plug it in the back and display the censor in the front. They also have a keyboard especially designed for the wii that you can buy too. The internet on the wii, as it is now, is honestly, pretty useless. When the new update comes out for Opera browser, it may change all that. I say this because it is hard to see the screen and you have to zoom in and out all the time. Also, many things on the web are not recognized by the current browser, so many videos won’t work. The typing commands are also sub-optimal. For instance, you cant just hit enter after you type in an address, you have to point and click ok. In most cases, you also have to type in searches on the Opera search screen instead of the actual website. There are little things like that, that add up to drawbacks for using the internet on the wii. I would prefer the old webtv over this current configuration, but like I said, this could change soon.
You can type to friends, but aol seems to be problematic for me. Alot of work still needs to be done before people are going to actually use this over the computer. As it is now, I usually just get up and go to my computer.
